A Tally webhook sends each submission to Audimate. Each answer appears under its question’s label, such as Company. Webhooks are free on every Tally plan.

Get your URL in Audimate

1

Open the workflow's Triggers tab

Open the workflow that should get the tasks, then choose the Triggers tab.
2

Choose Add trigger, then the app

Search for Tally and select it.
3

Pick the event

When Tally offers more than one event, pick the one that should add a task, then choose Continue. Every other event it sends is skipped.
4

Copy the URL

Choose Copy. You see the URL once, so leave this window open until you’ve pasted it. The setup waits until the event arrives.

Connect the webhook in Tally

1

Open the form's integrations

Publish your form, then go to its Integrations tab.
2

Choose Connect to Webhooks

Paste the Audimate URL as the endpoint URL. To sign events, also type a Signing secret, then connect it.
3

Save the same secret (optional)

If you typed a signing secret in Tally, paste the same one into Signing secret in Audimate and choose Save, so the trigger refuses requests Tally didn’t sign.
4

Submit the form once

Fill in and submit your form, so Audimate gets a real submission.

Finish in Audimate

1

Choose Next

Back in Audimate, the setup says Your first event arrived. Choose Next.
2

Fill in each field

For each task field, pick the part of the event that fills it. Under each field you see what this event gives it.
3

Choose where new tasks go

Pick Inbox to start tasks yourself, or your pick-up list to have them start on their own.
4

Choose Turn on

The trigger’s switch turns on, and each new event now adds a task.
See Triggers for what each warning under a field means.

If nothing arrives

In your form’s dashboard, open the webhook’s events log. Check the URL and that the webhook isn’t paused. Tally retries a failed delivery for up to a day.
The secret in Tally and the trigger’s signing secret differ, or only one of them has one. Use the same secret in both, or remove it from both.
