What a page is
A page is a document in your library: an account brief, an escalation policy, a decision, a definition. Choose New page, enter a name or leave it blank, and click Create page. The name is the title above the page’s body. A page with no title shows as Untitled page, and searching for that finds it. See Creating files for where new pages are saved. Type in the title to rename the page later. Your changes save automatically. Saving… in the top-right corner shows when page changes are pending. A page lives in a folder, in Private or Team Library, and is shared, moved, and deleted like any other file. A deleted page sits in Trash for 30 days. Someone with view access sees View only and cannot edit. Arro and Ask Arro use your existing page permissions. New pages are in the knowledge base automatically, including private pages. You can change membership in Page details or the page’s library menu. Page details shows optional Summary and Tags, with Activity and links in expandable sections. Open the tag picker to add or remove tags. Type a new name and choose Create to add a tag. You can write a page without filling out any of these details.Page tour
The first-visit tour introduces your Page, explains writing guidance, and opens Page details in three steps. It explains what to write and where to configure knowledge base membership, summary, and tags. Choose Restart tour from the more actions (⋮) menu to replay it.Page links
Type[[ in a page or a playbook to link to a page, and the pill opens it. @ lists pages too,
alongside the plugins and fields a playbook can reference, though it offers only the pages
already loaded. [[ searches all of them. Linked from in Page details lists what links
here, pages and playbooks alike.
A link to a page that already exists follows that page. Rename the page and every link keeps
working and starts showing the new title. Move the page to the trash and the link still opens it,
landing on This page is in the trash with Restore.
Two pages can carry the same title. Both pickers offer each of them on its own row, labelled with
where it lives, and the row you pick is the page the link opens.
A link to a page nobody has written yet stays a title link: it renders dashed, is listed under
Links in Page details with a Create button, and lights up on its own once someone
writes that page.
Icon and cover
Hover over the top of a page and click Add icon or Add cover. Each starts with a random choice you can change. Click the icon to pick another emoji, or choose Random or Remove. Click Change cover to pick a gradient or background from Gallery, or choose Upload to use your own PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF up to 10 MB. For an uploaded image, Reposition lets you drag it to choose which part shows. Remove in the same menu takes the cover off. The page’s card in your library and on Home shows the cover and icon too. Anyone with edit access can change them. Cover images are visible to everyone in your workspace, even when the page itself is private.Images
Paste an image, drag one in, or choose Image in the + menu. A page takes PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF images up to 10 MB. Select an image to change it.
An image pasted from another page or playbook is copied into this one, so everyone who can open
this page sees it. It is copied only when you can open the document it came from.
Playbooks take images the same way.
Notes
Choose Note in the + menu to set something apart from the text, like where a task starts or a step to be careful with. Click a note’s icon to make it Info, Warning or Error. Playbooks take notes the same way.Link to a block
Right-click a block and choose Copy link to share a link to that one block. Opening the link scrolls the page to the block and highlights it. Playbooks link to their steps the same way.Export a page
Export a page as a PDF from the more actions (⋮) menu with Export page. The PDF keeps the page’s icon, cover, headings, lists, tables and links. The footer and paper options are the same as for a workflow: see Export.Comments and Arro
Select text to leave a comment on it, or click Ask Arro to open a comment with Arro tagged. Arro makes the change and replies in the thread. See Comments. The summary line
An optional summary under Page details describes the page in 160 characters or fewer. Arro can use the page’s content when you leave it blank. Optional tags help group related pages. Each page supports 5 tags of up to 100 characters each. Pages above that limit can remove tags.Limits
Pages have their own shared and private pools, alongside the ones for workflows, which they do not share headroom with: per seat in Team Library and per member in Private. Creating a page in a full pool is blocked with a message naming your plan and the pool, such as “Your Free plan allows up to 3 shared pages.” Moving a page between the two follows the same rules as any other file.Document size
