Find work Arro has run for you and inspect its progress or results.

Find a task

Open Tasks in the sidebar. Filter by task type, workflow, status, and date, or search by task name, to find a run. Choosing a workflow shows only that workflow’s runs. To see one workflow’s runs from the workflow itself, open its Runs tab. On the device that ran it, open a task to see its plan, steps, results, and any message explaining why it stopped. On the web, tasks show their name and status but do not open, because their details stay on the device. For follow-ups, see Asking for more. If no tasks match, choose Clear filters to return to your full history. In an empty web workspace, choose Get the desktop app to download Audimate and start running tasks. Use a finished task’s file button to open its saved output, including files saved outside Arro’s folders.

Search your workspace

Use the top search bar or press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac). Search across workflows, pages, folders, tasks, scheduled tasks, and creations in your current workspace. Creations appear in the desktop app. Web task results show names and statuses, with details available on the original device. Use the arrow keys to choose a result and Enter to open it.

Where details are available

Ad-hoc background tasks stay private to you. A task’s name is saved to your account so the web can list it. Its detailed history is not uploaded. With memory on, Arro reads the name and result of tasks that finished this week when a chat starts, and its chat recaps can mention them. See Creations for files produced by tasks.

History retention

Each device keeps up to 90 days of task history per workspace, then removes older tasks automatically. Open the device that ran the task to review its details before that history expires.

Keep a workflow up to date

Apps change after you record a workflow. When a workflow run finds that a step works a little differently, such as a button that moved or a menu item with a new name that means the same thing, it does the step the new way and keeps going. The finished task shows how many steps work differently now. Open that line to see what the workflow says and what the app does now for each one. Choose Update workflow to have the workspace agent update the playbook to match. It runs as its own task, so you can open it to see what changed. When the app has changed more than that, for example an option is gone or a choice now reads as if it could mean something else, the run stops at that step. A run you started asks you what to do instead.

A task needs attention

Open a stopped task to read its status and message. Resume it when that action is available. An interrupted task can mean the device shut down before it finished. A running task can spend time thinking between steps without adding a new entry to its history. If a task reports that its response was interrupted, check any external changes before starting it again. Home’s Needs you list shows how many of your tasks failed in the last 24 hours. Opening Tasks or the failed task clears that line on the device you are using, and so does dismissing it. A new failure brings it back. Use Background work for starting work and Scheduled tasks for recurring runs.
