Choose when Arro hears you and which microphone it uses. Use Arro → Microphone in the desktop app. Turn on Enable Arro in General to change these settings.

Input

Turning Push to talk off keeps Arro listening until you mute. Your Keybinds settings choose the hold-to-talk and mute shortcuts.

Recording narration

Recording narration has its own listening mode. With Push-to-talk while recording off, the microphone stays on so you can narrate hands-free. Turn it on to narrate only while holding your push-to-talk key. Show the narration reminder restores the one-time note shown when recording starts. See Watch mode for recording a process.

If Arro cannot hear you

Check Mute microphone, your selected input device, and whether push-to-talk is enabled. If microphone permission is missing, use Permissions settings.

Keybinds

Choose your voice and text shortcuts.

Watch mode

Narrate a process while recording.
