Remote control lets you message Arro from Discord or Telegram when you’re away from your computer. Arro does the work on your computer and answers in the chat. Remote control is available on every plan. Arro answers only while your computer is on and the Audimate desktop app is open on it, signed in, with Arro turned on. It works in the workspace open in the app.

Connect Discord

1

Start in Audimate

From Settings → Your account → Remote control, select Connect next to Discord. Discord opens its sign-in page.
2

Sign in to Discord

Sign in and add Audimate to your account. A page opens that says Finish in Discord.
3

Use /arro once

In Discord, type /arro with any message. Arro replies with a prompt that names your Audimate account, instead of answering.
4

Confirm in Discord

Select Connect. Arro asks you to approve the account in Audimate.
5

Approve in Audimate

In Remote control, your Discord account shows wants to connect. Select Approve, then send your request again with /arro.

Connect Telegram

1

Start in Audimate

From Settings → Your account → Remote control, select Connect next to Telegram. A QR code appears.
2

Start the bot

Scan the code with your phone, or select Open Telegram on this computer if the Telegram app is installed there. Select Start. The bot sends a prompt that names your Audimate account.
3

Confirm in Telegram

Select Connect. The bot asks you to approve the account in Audimate.
4

Approve in Audimate

In Remote control, your Telegram account shows wants to connect. Select Approve. The bot sends Connected.
Only select Connect in a chat app for a request you started from your own Remote control page. If the account it names is not yours, select Cancel. In Remote control, only approve an account you recognize; select Decline for any other.

Ask Arro

In a Telegram group, the bot asks you to message it directly instead of answering. Your requests and Arro’s answers pass through Discord or Telegram. Telegram keeps the answers in your chat history. Discord answers disappear when Discord reloads.

What Arro does from a chat app

Arro handles the request as if you had typed it on your computer, with its voice off. The request and Arro’s answer also appear in Home’s chat, marked From Telegram or From Discord. Arro can answer questions, start tasks, and work in your workspace and your apps. When a task, picture or track it started finishes or needs you, Arro tells you in the same chat: in Telegram for up to 24 hours, in Discord for 15 minutes. After that, it appears only in Home’s chat, without speaking. Signing in, changing Arro’s settings, setting up a plugin, opening a file outside the folders Arro can reach, and approving a background task’s step all need you at the computer. When a plugin action Arro takes for your request needs your approval, Arro asks in the chat. Reply to allow or deny it, or answer its card at the computer. Always allow still takes a click there. Arro answers in text only. Files it makes, like pictures, music and a task’s files, are not sent to the chat app. They stay on your computer, in Home’s chat and in Creations. A request from a chat app counts toward your monthly usage like any other request to Arro.

When Arro can’t answer

If connecting doesn’t finish

Open the chat app within 10 minutes of selecting Connect in Remote control. Then select Connect in the chat app within an hour, and approve the account in Remote control within an hour after that.

Disconnect

Disconnect in Remote control stops Arro answering that account, including requests it is still working on. You can connect it again at any time. To use a different account, disconnect the current one, then connect the new one.
