# Make

> Add a task to an Audimate workflow from any Make scenario, using the HTTP module to send the values each scenario run collects.

Make connects your apps in scenarios. Add an HTTP module and every time the scenario runs, Audimate
adds a task.

## Get your URL in Audimate

**1. Open the workflow's Triggers tab**

Open the workflow that should get the tasks, then choose the **Triggers** tab.

**2. Choose Add trigger, then the app**

Search for **Make** and select it.

**3. Pick the event**

When Make offers more than one event, pick the one that should add a task, then choose
**Continue**. Every other event it sends is skipped.

**4. Copy the URL**

Choose **Copy**. You see the URL once, so leave this window open until you've pasted it. The setup
waits until the event arrives.

## Add the module in Make

**1. Open your scenario**

In the scenario editor, add a module where the task should be added.

**2. Choose HTTP, then Make a request**

Search for **HTTP** and choose **Make a request**. Leave **Authentication type** on **No
authentication**.

**3. Paste the URL**

Paste the Audimate URL into **URL** and set **Method** to **POST**.

**4. Choose what to send**

Set **Body content type** to **application/json**. Choose **Data structure**, then add a name and
a value for each thing the task needs.

**5. Run the scenario once**

Choose **Run once**. Make sends one event, and Audimate shows it.

## Finish in Audimate

**1. Choose Next**

Back in Audimate, the setup says **Your first event arrived**. Choose **Next**.

**2. Fill in each field**

For each task field, pick the part of the event that fills it. Under each field you see what this
event gives it.

**3. Choose where new tasks go**

Pick **Inbox** to start tasks yourself, or your pick-up list to have them start on their own.

**4. Choose Turn on**

The trigger's switch turns on, and each new event now adds a task.

See [Triggers](/concepts/triggers.md) for what each warning under a field means.

Turn the scenario on in Make too, so it runs on its schedule.

## If nothing arrives

> **Make says the request failed**
>
> Check that the URL was pasted whole and the method is **POST**. If you replaced the URL in
> Audimate, paste the new one.
