# Private library

> Keep personal workflows, task boards, and pages in your workspace, organize drafts in folders, and choose when to share them with teammates.

Keep drafts and personal work to yourself until you choose to share.

## What belongs here

Open **Private** in the sidebar for your personal workflows, task boards, pages, and folders in the current workspace.
Use it for a process you are testing or notes that are not ready for teammates.

Private files are saved in your workspace account. They are available across devices, unlike local [Creations](/concepts/creations).

## Share when ready

An item's sharing settings let you choose who can access it. See [Sharing and ownership](/concepts/workflows#sharing) for permissions.
Sharing moves the item into the shared library. Shared content belongs in [Team library](/concepts/team-library), including work shared with specific people.

Private pages stay personal in the [knowledge base](/concepts/knowledge), including when Arro reads them for you.

## Organize your work

See [Creating files](/concepts/libraries#creating-files) for the **New** menu. Open a folder to browse its contents or add a subfolder.
