# Libraries

> Choose where to keep workflows, task boards, and pages, understand who can access them, and organize shared work with folders and team spaces.

Choose the right place for your workflows, task boards, and pages.

## Choose a library

Libraries belong to the workspace you have selected. Both shared and private files are available when you sign in on another device.

In **Grid**, coloured graphics distinguish folders, workflows, task boards, and pages in both **Private** and **Team library**.

| Place | Use it for | Access |
| -------------------------------------- | --------------------------------- | --------------------- |
| [Private](/concepts/private-library) | Personal drafts and work | You |
| [Team library](/concepts/team-library) | Work shared with teammates | People granted access |
| [Team spaces](/account/teams) | Work for a particular team | Members of that team |
| [Creations](/concepts/creations) | Files Arro makes on your computer | Local to that device |

**Team library** can include workspace-wide, team, and individual shares. Appearing there does not mean every workspace member can open the item.

## Creating files

Choose **New** in the sidebar or a library, select a file type, and enter a name.
New workflows, task boards, and pages start at the top level of **Private**, including when you are viewing shared work.
Share or move the file when you are ready for others to access it. New folders use your current library location.

## Folders and access

Folders organize related work. Access granted through a folder applies to its contents, including nested folders.
Check an item's sharing settings before moving it into a shared folder.

[Sharing and ownership](/concepts/workflows#sharing) explains permission levels and who can change access.
Your organization role does not give you a view of another member's private files.

## Find help for a file

For help with an open workflow, task board, or page, select **Documentation** from the top-right three-dot menu.

## Capacity

Private and shared files count against different [plan limits](/account/plan-limits#workspace-capacity).
Moving between libraries needs room in the destination. The message names the limit if a move is blocked.

Deleting a file moves it to [Trash](/concepts/trash). Page access controls who can find it in the [knowledge base](/concepts/knowledge).
