# Apps

> Use the apps Arro builds: they label and read with AI, keep their own records, and work with your connected apps, task boards, and pages.

Ask Arro for an app that keeps doing a job, like an inbox sorter that labels emails you paste in, or an invoice reader that pulls totals out of the PDFs you drop on it. Apps appear in [Creations](/concepts/creations), and each opens in its own window.

## Apps that sort, read, and write

Apps Arro builds can use AI and keep their own records.

| Labels, reads, or drafts something | It uses your AI allowance, like a request to Arro |
| Sees the same item again | It can reuse the earlier answer without using more |
| Saves records | They're kept in a hidden folder inside the app's folder |
| Opens outside Audimate | Its AI, records, and connections are unavailable |

**Change this app** in the app's window sends what you type to Arro, which edits the app where it is. Its saved records carry over.

## The app's menu

| From the app's **⋯** menu | What happens |
| - | - |
| **Permissions** | Shows what it can use, to allow or remove |
| **Export data** | Saves its tables as CSV files where you choose |
| **Reset app data** | Moves everything it saved to your computer's trash |
| **Delete app** | Moves its folder, records included, to your computer's trash |

When the app isn't in a folder of its own, or its folder holds other results, the menu shows **Delete**, which moves just the file.
The menu also shows the app's share of monthly usage, as a percent.

## Apps that use your connected apps

An app can also work with your [connected apps](/concepts/plugins), task boards, and pages. Ask for an inbox sorter that reads your Outlook mail.

The first time an app needs any of these, its window lists them. Choose **Allow** or **Not now**.

| Needs an app you haven't connected | A message to connect it in Audimate |

Actions that send, post, or change something in a connected app usually ask first. **Always allow for this app** stops that asking for one action. A tool set to **Blocked** in the plugin's settings never runs.
