# Workspace policies

> Manage admin two-factor authentication and model access for your workspace, and understand how policies affect personal model preferences.

Set authentication requirements for admins and choose which model settings everyone in your workspace can use.
Only owners and admins can see or edit **Policies**.

<span id="limits" />

## Require 2-factor for admins

Open **Workspace settings → Policies → Security** and turn on **Require 2-factor for admins**.
Confirm with **Require 2FA**. Turning the requirement off saves immediately.

This policy requires owners and admins to enable two-factor authentication before administrative actions.
It covers workspace settings, member management, ownership transfers, and claiming resources. Members are unaffected.

Only an admin or owner with two-factor authentication enabled can change the policy.
If blocked, enable it under [Account & security](/account/security) first.

If you see "Could not load security settings.", choose **Try again** to reload the policy.

## Model access

Open **Workspace settings → Policies** and find **Model access**.
Policies apply to everyone, including owners and admins, within the subscription's available settings.

| Control | Applies to |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| **Arro** | Thinking together and reading recordings |
| **Background work** | Background tasks and workflow runs |
| **Image quality** | Generated and edited image detail |
| **Image size** | Requested maximum image size |
| **Music quality** | Music generation quality |

Choose a maximum for each control, or **Plan maximum** to follow the subscription. Changes save automatically.
Changes apply the next time Arro chooses a model. Work already running keeps its model.

Image size is a request. The image model chooses the final dimensions, which may be smaller or larger.

Higher [personal choices](/concepts/arro#how-hard-arro-thinks) remain saved and return when the policies allow them.
Options restricted by these rules are marked **Workspace policy** in your personal model settings.

If you see "Could not load model settings.", the settings could not be retrieved and the controls stay disabled.
Choose **Try again** to reload them.

"Could not update workspace policies." means your change did not save. Reload the page and try changing the setting again.

For monthly allowances and member spending caps, see [Usage](/account/usage).
